I love UX and websites. Always have.
Back in the 90’s, I earned a master's degree in computer science and business administration. And took several courses in UX.
I wanted to travel, and I wanted so much to learn to speak French. Everything sounds so good in French, and the culture and the food are wonderful.
So…I made a plan. It took some time, but I finally got a job in Paris as a project manager at a web agency, and I got to lead a web project for one of the largest high-end fashion brands in the world. They needed to get their first website. And I learned to speak French.
Websites looked completely different at the time (end of the 90s), but the use of technology remained the same. Like the human mind hasn’t changed.
Since then, back in Denmark, I continued to work in the technology world, working on websites and large IT systems - the common denominator has always been the focus on the user.
Right here on this blog, I’m exploring, learning, and sharing my knowledge on how to make a website work for you...embracing the technology and learning how to attract people to your website. And learn the techniques to make a strategic website that keeps your visitors interested in staying on your website.

PS. Kollated combines the English word collated with the Old Norse word kolle, which means to build supporting poles. Collating your knowledge and building a website that works for you is a strong foundation for building an online business on your own terms.

PS.
The name Kollated combines the English word collated, to collect and organise with the old Nordic word kolle, which means to build supporting poles. I believe that collating beautiful photos on your website is one of the very important parts of building a website that attracts customers.
